McLaren MCL34

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Trying to trim some weight?
Making its debut in Spa, the MCL34 will adopt a new stealth livery. The small restyle has been made for both performance and aesthetic purposes, as we continue to push as hard as we can until the end of the season.

I think something is amiss there, as even the tyres look different.
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

Well it's another render. I don't see anything wrong with it. McLaren posted the image themselves.

McLaren today is clearly deprived of attention, there are almost no photos.

Looks like it since you can see more of the upper wishbone.

Looks like there are no new visible parts on the car. Then again they deserved the break, maybe next race.

Does the new paint scheme count? We certainly weren't expecting that!

I'm disappointed with the lesser orange and black but couldn't care less what color the car is as long as it is in front. Interesting that RBR and Ferrari claimed their matte paint brought a performance advantage... Now McL increasing the matte part as well.

From least to most IMHO, McLaren, RBR, Ferrari, Mercedes.
