Something needs to be done to stop this happening ever again.
Why? This happens at two races, maybe 3 races max. Better like this than to have a draw when and who starts. How boring would that be?
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Well I guess I was right. That's indeed a total clusterf**k.

Why not make it a one off single lap qualifying like the last years of the V10 era. This sucks

What an absolute farce.

Indeed. However TBH this has been coming as the situation has been getting more and more idiotic with every race.

That was dirty from Hulkenberg/Ricciardo, Sainz and Leclerc. The Renault driver and Sainz for slowing the whole pack down, which may be penalized, Charles for passing Vettel on the final straight before the start of the lap, I think they knew Mercedes were never going to make it to the clock, so it was mega dirty... Can we expect a penalty streak like Formula 3? And why the hell did everyone wait for the exact last 2 minutes, when they had at least 4.

Why? Renault actually blinked first. Others could have gone out earlier if they wanted too.

That was pathetic and an injustice to all the people who paid for seats, cable, subscriptions, etc. The aero or engine manufacturers or whatever isn't killing the sport. It's this kind of childish idiocy that is.

fake blink though, he went out and slowed everyone down, nobody wanted to get ahead of him to become the first on the track

I find it funny though, all those serious faces in pits :D

I rather enjoyed this clutter trying to play a game of reverse chicken. To bad they were just a few seconds down.

Sorry but others could have gone earlier if they didn’t want to miss the line. Waiting till 2 minutes before the flag? Curse on all their houses.

Why hasn't Vettel's lap been scrapped? It clearly had all four wheels off the track. Well, I know why. Is being consistent with rules so hard?
