Stroll not getting the same penalty as Vettel? That’s not right. Sure Vettel caused Stroll to go off, but it was Stroll’s choice as to how he rejoined.

How come Mercedes never get penalised for faking a Pitstop? Happened so many times now, the rules clear on that aren't they?

The key difference probably that one driver caused a collision.

Merc likes to put their pit crew in unnecessary danger

I don't get why Merc gets away with it at basically every race.

I mean his penalty is a joke because he was penalised for rejoining unsafely. He was on the track, he was across the apex and well on the track, so he couldn't 'rejoin' at all.

Stroll was in the firing line and had to get out of the way imo, there was no good way to do that. Vettel was fully off track, not even wing overhanging, he could have waited.

What Vettel did was a infinitely worse than what Stroll did. Vettel put himself on track at a right angle because he's a ****, Stroll's spin left him on the track at a right angle and thus had to move.

For me these are completely and utterly different situations despite the apparent similarity. Needing to get off track is completely different to rejoining it like a freaking nutjob.

And Hamilton the hypocrite. Calls for tough racing, but only if he's not at a disadvantage. Hallelujah

Leclerc pushed Hamilton off the track and got the warning flag. Looks like the stewards have decided not to intervene in the race...

Not sure why Mercedes chose the mediums, they will have more degradation than the hards, if they dont get past in the first 10 laps then thats it for them

Funny how they were talking the other day about making use of the black and white flag more!

Handy get out clause to avoid giving a penalty to a red car at Monza but it’s probably a fair outcome.

I wonder if Ham will have to pit 2nd time, but Bot might just have extended enough to switch to mediums and challenge Lec later in the race

Can LEC keep up his hard tyres better than HAM can keep up his Med tyres?
