Or are they prepared to and are confident enough not to need a run on them?
If they think Soft-hard will do it and just a speculative lap on Med in q3 nothing lost really. Just reverse the option.

I like Red Bulls strategy because its hard to overtake around this track so why use the mediums and risk running out of tyres like Mercedes did in Monaco so likely Soft-Hard until the end. However there is a massive undercut here so a team could try what Mercedes did in Hungary, then there might be sufficient tyre offset for an overtake.

If you can get the mediums to last the whole race then bingo. If not the slower hards will have to suffice. Last year proved that this compound was actually not that much slower though.

Interesting strategy choices it seems.
- Mercedes appears to be preferring to start the race on Mediums and jump to Hards.
- Ferrari appears to be preferring to start on Softs and jump to Mediums.
- Red Bull appears to be preferring to start on Softs and jump to Hards.

That's a good point, a two stopper is likely although overtaking is very difficult here so track position will be key unless there is a big performance difference.

There is also a high likelihood of an accident if someone put it in the wall the strategy could be ruined

In Singapore you should definitely plan with a spare tire in case of a SC. A used (or new) medium would be the best. But i think a used soft from Q1 will also do it.

Wonder if Ver will be able to fight with Mercedes. Ferrari should be not on the top on track witch such huge amounts of slow corners, or even - a lot of corners.

Except for the farce of 2008, nobody has won a race here beyond 5th position (2017). Even in 2017, it was due to a collision including the top 3. Barring a drama like 2017, SC has never really altered the race win situation for the leaders. So critical is the track position that, regardless of what tyre a car is on, if it is leading after the pit stop, then most likely it would win the race. So, the leader would like to avoid an undercut and pit first, unless there is around 5 seconds of advantage.
