Just caught up with the Oesterreich R-B G.P...

Race of the year, so far, IMO.

Yet another classic! & once again M.M. is 'pipped at the post', I (almost) feel regret for him, but the fact that M.M. & Honda are still consistently beatable - on at least one race circuit - well ok, its good for the series..

While noting the new Moto 2 class, for sure those Triumph triples do sound kinda like F1 does. Not bad.

Yeah that Triumph engine in Moto2 is a work of art if you ask me. Sounds amazing! And this is just the first year. I wonder if they are going to be doing any further development on that motor or if it's frozen per regs.

Also I find the MotoE races to be spectacular as well. Those bikes are so heavy - I really think there's a big opportunity for a lot of R&D to happen to improve those machines. Mainly more power and range and less weight and a also the chassis design. There's gotta be a ton of room for improvement with suspension. That rear shock seems a bit wonky to me.

Fantastic race. Can't believe how fast Fabulous Fabio is. Marc's reaction in Parc ferme after the end of the race said it all. He was sick of losing last lap last corner battles. Also it being Rossi's home turf and winning there in such a style was definitely an added bonus for him.

Also the Moto E races were fantastic. Huge fan of that series already!

Agreed. I wish Stoner was here. I wish Lorenzo was on the Ducati still.

I was just struck at how far behind the next Honda rider was. Whatever Honda is paying Marc just doesn't seem to be enough. Honda riders crashing out left and right and finishing 14th vs this one guy battling for the win...just blows the mind.

KTM decided to finish the season with Kallio and not Zarco. Not particularly nice but understandable.

It is strange that Yamaha riders are struggling with other bikes so much. Zarco could be honda rider now but maybe he could not be as good as he were in Yamaha.
