Yes because it’s normal behaviour for a driver on a faster tyre to drive slower than a guy on a slower tyre.Zynerji wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 15:56Restomaniac wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 15:55I doubt Vettel had anything to do with Ferrari screwing LeClerc. If you can dig me up a radio transcript of Vettel saying over the radio ‘Bring me in first and leave Charles out till I’m in front’ go for it.
Vettel broke the delta. Charles was driving slow, and Seb dropped the hammer. Had Seb driven slowly, Charles would have won.
They crossed phases of the strategy. They are no longer apples and apples once a driver pits.Restomaniac wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 16:01Yes because it’s normal behaviour for a driver on a faster tyre to drive slower than a guy on a slower tyre.Zynerji wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 15:56Restomaniac wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 15:55I doubt Vettel had anything to do with Ferrari screwing LeClerc. Exactly which is why Ferrari screwed LeClerc.Zynerji wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 16:02They crossed phases of the strategy. Yes. Hamilton had earned the position and was only in danger from his team mate because the team messed up the strategy call. That's fair and the opposite to what Ferrari did.

Yes I see. I wonder what they told Leclerc after Vettel pitted and afterwards.Just_a_fan wrote: ↑22 Sep 2019, 16:05Yes. Hamilton had earned the position and was only in danger from his team mate because the team messed up the strategy call. That's fair and the opposite to what Ferrari did.
Aren't you and JaF saying (inventing) that Ferrari gave a team order (Vettel pit) to "screw" Charles?
