I have both versions of the Logitech wheeels. There's absolutely nothing wrong in getting the Momo, it definitely does the job. The G25 is a superior product, but is of higher quality and has more features. One difference however, is that the Momo has 6 programmable buttons on the wheeel, versus 2 on the G25. That actually offeres more programming flexibility and features, especially when on the track and competing.
Racing should be decided on the track, not the court room.
Actually, the G25 has more programmable buttons (12), but they are on the shifter console. But when you are racing, it's a hazard to take your eyes off the screen to make pit stop settings, or something of that nature.
The two buttons on the wheeel do have enhanced programmability, where you could cycle through various menus ... but that's tiresome and usually more trouble than if you had 6 on the wheel. For example, with my Momo and the Papyrus sim NASCAR 2003, I could select gas amount, which tires to change, and their individual pressures, even whether to do repairs.

Now I've been using G25 for over a year and very happy with it. It feels fantastic. When I used MOMO those 4 extra buttons weren't enough anyways so I had to use the keyboard anyway for pit-strategy changes during online races.
