Hamilton is really having a very average season, hope he turns it around for qualifying.
9 wins. Pretty average.
I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt and believe he meant to say session.
Yep I did although I don't think he's been in the form he was last season.

Fair enough, honest mistake. I'd argue his form in races has been even better than last year. Qualifying form has not been as strong, and HAM has admitted as much.

Re: the weekend . . .

Merc's race pace looks much better than their single-lap pace. Their tire degradation isn't where they want it to be, but I'd argue that's the case for everyone after today. Who knows what is going to happen if it rains again overnight.

Yep his qualifying has been quite average this season, either that or Bottas has really upped his game in that department.

Their race pace won't help them when they are slow on the straight and so poor with the strategy.

Looks like Vettel has turned his form around, once comfortable he's very hard to beat.

 So true. What a ridiculous statement. Hopefully he meant, "in Mexico."

I'd tend to remove those 25.x laps from Hamilton on medium, don't think this was genuine (lack of) pace?! Good run from Verstappen on softs though

To be fair it is a very average season for Lewis. In his 7th year at Mercedes now he has won 61 races in the silver arrow. That is an average of 8.7 wins per season. he has currently won 9. So its completely average

Although in the hybrid era, its 60 wins in 6 seasons. so a perfect average of 10 per season. So he needs 1 more win to be average.

Luckily, I was playing around in Unreal engine so all the weird commentary went unnoticed by me.

vettel's fp2 lap 1.16.607
360 kmh already in fp2. if this car finds itself in someone's slipstream i'd say 375+ is feasible

If Merc have nothing to offer from PU then this is definitely a Ferrari lockout. I was hoping the RBs would pose some sort of challenge but Max made it clear they can't do anything except focus on race pace.

The race on the other hand has it a lot closer. It's almost like they're all using different cars in qualy than race.
