Hamilton purple S2 and just +0.1 after two sectors and Bottas puts it into the wall in front of him ... well done
P2 was probably the best he could do. Honestly, P4 might be a better place to get a good toe and avoid the collision that's going to happen at turn one.

Glad to see this weekends topic for an endless discussion is there already
that is not debatable.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Bottas looked like he had an injured leg, jumping out onto the left and doing a few more hops without using his right leg

Can't remember Seb's 2nd sector but he did a 26.6 1st sector, a little bit down on his 1st run. He was there or there about at the 2nd sector.

Probably P3, Leclerc was already out of the running and Vettel might have been on a decent lap ... let's see how lap1 goes

Well, then he needs to get a penalty.... even though I like him to be on pole :(

I bet they go soft and just delete his second timed run.

It should be a disqualification from Q3. He put his and Bottas life at risk. He needs to be punished.

Nico did it in Hungary a few years ago, I thought they tightened it up after that saying you cant just lift on that corner alone. or something like that.

Will not be surprised with a 5 grid drop and 3 penalty point I guess.

It was just stupid to gun it when a car is crashed in front of you.

What were VET’s sectors on his last lap? Looked like he was up but then braked.
Vettel was a bit more than a tenth up on his previous lap after 2 sectors, so his final sector would have to be pretty good take pole. P2 was probably the most he could achieve.

Hamilton didn't post his personal best in 3rd sector on his final run, but he was flat to the floor past bottas regardless!!! Therefore if max gets a penalty, so should hamilton.

Unless ofcourse if there were no yellow flags yet.

I think the appropriate penalty is a 3 places grid drop..but the FIA will just delete his last lap time only!

From this it seems like he was net .1 faster than previously after 2 sectors, slower in S1, faster by some margin in S2.

There was no yellow for Hamilton. But there was one for Verstappen.
