Anyone noticed these last few races Bottas has finally caught up with Hamilton race pace wise, too little too late but bodes well for next season should it continue.

I think Hamilton was poor at the start of the hard stint and worried they won't make it because he pushed like mad on his outlap as they anticipated Vettel would box the next lap, these tyres need breaking in carefully.

Button’s in full De Resta wind up mode now by blowing gallons of smoke up Hamiltons backside
Has anybody figured out where the hate comes from?

I know there was some legal battle between PDR and Hamilton's dad in about 2013.

Amazing performance from Hamilton and a deserved win.
Ferrari clearly didn’t expect Lewis to do such a strong stint on the Hards. There literally was no cliff off, but Ferrari thought there would be one towards end - maybe also considering the damage on Hamilton’s car. That’s why they told Leclerc that there was going to be a fight at the end. Didn’t happen.

Verstappen was too aggressive. It was just a question of when he would damage his and/or other cars before the race even had started.

I'm not sure. I think the last few races have fallen well for Bottas.

For example today Lewis had car damage since lap 1 and Lewis also had the most compromised strategy in terms of overall race pace.
Bottas has been right on pace with Hamilton since Monza, he's definitely made waves in race pace towards the back end of the season.

Back to Bottas 2.0 then. That only works over a FULL season. Lewis Hamilton is a 6 time WDC for a reason!

If they needed breaking in carefully then how could Hamilton have ‘pushed like mad’ and still do the amount of laps? It’s one of the other surely?

I must do the slightest correction to my above statement: so, in 2019 in order to win a race, it`s not necessarily to be on pole anymore! Just focus on the race pace and (that`s the correction I must do) make sure your running in the free air!

Looks like the floor happened when Verstappen’s left rear took a bite on the first lap.
Look again, both had quite an interesting turn 2.. unlucky race for ves. anyway Ferrari what the hell 😁 that strategy guy really must like Mercedes

We we’re talking about this. Don’t forget they were both British and Jrs and the same time. Hamilton is a 6 time WDC and De Resta is...........?

Nursing them would have likely given him more performance from the tyres, he was the one whining about them early doors so pushing them hard straight out of the box obviously affected them. Towards the middle and end of the stint he didn't complain once.

Vettel is a dirty lil pr1ck. And Verstappen is showing no signs of mental progress.
