Yeah so terrible that everyone including you thought his tyres were shot. How did that go?
You're getting a bit carried away I see, who said his tyres were shot?
You did say ‘he was worried they wouldn’t make it’. Which you seemed to back up with your comment about him needing to break them in carefully. Well he didn’t need to carefully break them in and they made it to the end. So it seems you alongside many others fell for Hamiltons bluff. Not bad for a guy who can’t play poker.
He was worried hence his constant messages. In the end the tyres came back to him and he was able to find good pace.

Hamilton essentially just called Verstappen dumb in the press conference when asked whether they treat him differently on track, Vettel said "copy paste".
Yeah? any quotes from what Lewis said?
I'm watching the press conference on sky right now ... he said something along the lines of "there's drivers who are smart ... smart-agressive, and others ......." (which implied that he's the opposite of smart) and then something about taking silly risks ... gotta wait for the transcript for proper quotes

His initial response to the question was just "yep"

He wasn’t worried though. It’s a trick he has played plenty of times.

A trick for what exactly hahahaha, I think you're putting two and two together and making six.

Straight talking and raw, which can at times can be his weakness as Ted said to Horner...who was a lot more chastened (he's young still learning), in that exchange with the Note Book!

That’s just one of many. In that case it seems Mr De Resta thinks Hamilton shouldn’t be allowed to need room when he is actually alongside somebody else!
actually JB has just been agreeing with him!! they seemed blissfully unaware Max opened his steering to push Lewis off, backed it up with some wheelspin to oversteer into his floor, pushed him onto the green so that Lewis lost traction and oversteered too, was behind going into T2 but wouldn't give it up, and still pointlessly had his FW alongside as Lewis obviously was using all the track to make T3

and lol at the Press Conference with Lewis and Seb calling Max 'silly' . he's such a talent but he just threw another race away with it. Red Bull should ban Jos, i'm sure he makes him worse

He was buying himself time by complaining. he had all of the commentators, and I'm sure a lot of people on both pit laws thinking his tires won't make it to the end.

so it seems like vettel held back waiting for Lewis tires to fade away. By the time vettel and the Ferrari pit wall realized Lewis's tires weren't going to give up the ghost vettel had already used up the best part of his tires and wasn't going to get past unless Lewis made a mistake.

If Vettel hand pushed Lewis hard as soon as he came out on his second stint I think there was a good chance he would have gotten past.

He held back yet was setting fastest laps, you're doing the same as the other fella. Hamilton didn't feel comfortable on the hards in the beginning and that was my guess because he pushed them too hard on his outlap at the risk of Vettel boxing the next lap.

i'm pretty sure it was what Lewis did in Monaco, on the Mediums: moaned non-stop so Max waited for the inevitable, but the inevitable never happened, and Max waited right to the end, too late, and only had one rather hopeless attempt

No insight needed, Max pushed and hounded Hamilton to the maximum throughout the race and never really got close enough to make a reasonable attempt at a pass.
