It pains me to see VB put on airs that he's so great. There has been so many races in his 3 years at Mercedes where he has sucked.

VB can't drive his car well unless the setup is perfect.

Ricciardo would have been a much better teamate to Hamilton.

Gotta disagree with you wholeheartedly especially the last line. Ricciardo better team mate yes. But I think VB is a good enough teammate for Hamilton. He's winning Mercedes is winning. No need to rock the boat. I would bet that's how Toto is thinking. Besides Toto manages VB doesn't he?

I saw this over lunch, and it seems more like an excuse than anything else. A top tier athlete in any sport should be able to handle when things aren't exactly as they would like them to be.
