This is a ridiculous safety car. Completely unnecessary.

VSC at the most, but even then 30 seconds to get that car out of the way....

What tyres do Max and Lewis have left?
Lewis new Medium and Hard

Max used Hard new Medium

I think they will both go medium until the end.
Max used softs?
New, never expected him to take them, he will be fast, very fast.

Has Max got new or used softs on, they didn't look shiny new to me.

Yet more proof that the FIA and the stewards are imbeciles.

hamilton in a mercedes is never a sitting duck. His mediums are 13 laps old at this point and thats nothing.

I hate that unlapping rule. Oh and BTW I’ve always hated it.

It just feels awfully fake and unneeded.

I wouldn't say this was lucky for Hamilton in the slightest.

Vs a faster car on faster tyres? Hamilton's good but even he'll struggle to win this.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

another totally fake, unnecessary safety car

i was looking forward to the long stint between Max and Lewis on the same tyres, now it's just another SC based result

That car has been clear and gone for around 4 laps. Letting cars unlap themselves was utterly idiotic.
