I think the best news are that RB an Max are pole position and P1 in race contender for last few races. Something unthinkable at season start. So championship car is available. A little bit of luck is also needed for 2020...all other factors are present....

Hamilton and Verstappen collision in Mexico was a racing incident. As was his clash with Leclerc in Suzuka, and the broken suspension in Spa. He also got robbed of a podium in Silverstone.

So Silverstone, Spa, Suzuka, and Mexico were all races he could have finished on the podium. Oh well next year he'll get his 5 wins.

Spain Monaco Silverstone Suzuka and COTA next year, it'll be so close that the other drivers will take points away from each other and those wins will be enough for the title.
5 wins aren't enough to become Champion he needs a "few" more

Does the last quarter of the season favors the RBR car in itself? Didn’t they also performed really well in the last quarter of the season (almost won the US GP, Won the Mexico GP, should have won the Brazil GP and comfortably third in Abu Dhabi).

There is something about the RBR concept that seems to excel in the latter part of the season and it’s not necessarily PU related (Honda has made amazing progress, but they were winning or close to winning the same races in 2018 with the Renault PU, which was clearly behind Mercedes and Ferrari).

Depends on how many winners are there. If more than 4 winners shared wins and there are 20 races who get more p2 and less damage he can win. It would be a dream season for us from point of competition

I will check in the next couple of days how many points previous drivers needed at the moment that they are crowned champion and with how many wins

Max has been the strongest in all areas out of all the front runners this season speed wise.

Never once been out qualified by his teammate and as far as I know never been slower in race pace.

Gasly has shown in this years Torro Rosso he's still that really good driver we all saw last season, it's just unfortunate he was pitted against a once in a generation talent.

Button managed to do it with 6, Alonso took the title to the last race and he only won 4, thrice in 2012. It can be done with 5, of course I want 22 wins 22 poles and 22 fastest laps and pit stops, but nobody is perfect.

Next year Redbull chassis needs to step up, Merc is better on tyres this year and faster on race pace. Exceptions were high altitude circuits where Honda was much better.
As for Max, there is a reason why Danny Ricc cashed out early for midfield mediocrity. His only competition is Lewis and Leclrec, next year Albon should give him a run for the money.

Well to be honest, it's not like either Gasly or Albon are comparable in their potential, even though that sounds harsh.
Gasly was a newby after just 1 year at Toro Rosso and Albon got in with even less experience under his belt.

Ricciardo is way different material and exactly the kind of competition you want to see Max up against, and to paint a honest picture.
It was a mistake to go, but, it is what it is.
Neither Albon nor Gasly are Ricciardo level, nor Max level, so to be honest, not having been outqualified doesn't really say that much.

Yes it does say much, both Albon and Gasly are talented kids but are up against a racing machine in Verstappen. It's not easy having that sort of record against any driver in F1.
