The worst phase of the season for any hardcore F1 fan. That struggle of withdrawal symptom.

Yes, it takes very, very long. Actually, during the season I sometimes find it a bit much, but the off season is agonizingly long.

Or respite and a new hope for those whose season didn't pan out.

it's a kind of glide path down to no racing, as it's a track without a single corner they can actually race through, so we could say they're letting us down gently

And at least the skiing has started

Looking forward to this race. Expect it to be fairly close between top 3 again.

No idea who this track will favour so any thoughts very welcome. The break is long but to love the anticipation and enthusiasm come the reveal of the new challengers in jan/feb

This has always been one of Merc’s strongest circuits.

Have a feeling Bottas is either going to be using an old Spec 2 or taking a grid penalty.

Does Merc have any real bad circuits?
True GOATs don’t need the help of superior material to win.

Tom Brady, Usain Bolt are true GOATs.

There aren't many more options, right ?
Anyway, last year the race turned out to be a total mess for Bottas .. can't recall the reason, but he was eaten alive being a sitting duck to Vet, Ver and Ric.
So if I were him, take the penalty and melt that ICE in just one race .. make it a qualification of 55 laps. That said .. I'm not him.

I still believe though it's smarter for a team like RB to take 5PU's a year (or maybe even 6), fight seriously for wins in 19 races, and secure that 2x 5th/6th.
But well, I'm not not nearly clever enough to work at RB either
