Just wondering what is going to happen to that track in heavy rain? Yes of course it will run off, but what will the effects be in the track material (+rubber) and the downforce on the car. will it become a lateral force?

Well. The same as in a normal corner but with no standing water.

Not so much standing water as different amounts on the 'up' side and the 'down' side. Also any rubber laied down will also wash off more on the 'down' side so grip will differ.

With a 30 percent incline the time the water is on track is for instance 10 seconds, from the outer rim to the inside of the track, while for a normal corner, with a 5% banking, the water may take a minute to get to the bottom/inside. so, six times the amount of water on the apex.

I don't think the concaved-ness will play any role because the turn will be easily flat out with any line.

Are they not putting a large grand stand around the outside of that curve? Missed opportunity if not.

Apart from start/finish straight stands, others hasnt been revealed yet.
