Extremely narrow sidepod, "Red Bull-esque" sculpting.

From only the small detail shown in that photo, could you really accurately tell how narrow the sidepod is?

The answer is clearly no. Don't know what HungarianRacer has seen there.
It's only a guess that Mercedes will have very narrow sidepods, but that's not a hard one - it will be surprising, if they don't.

W11 speculation compared with W10. There is some element to believe the sidepod has gotten narrower.

Will be quite interesting if they paint the halo red or Nikis stripes in red!

Quite tricky. Both pictures are from different angles. W11 one is zoomed into "TR" of Petronas whereas the other one is zoomed out and if you compare the "TR" section of the W10 you'll see that it's curved even more.

I'm not doubting that the sidepods are going to be narrower, quite the contrary, I'm absolutely sure about that happening. But I think that this piece of picture is not enough to tell.

They showed a picture before where they still had a red star for Niki, but, would be interesting to see them add more red somewhere else too (halo? that one race, it looked quite flashy)

I also agree that that last picture definitely suggests a matte paint, and the sidepod also seems less turquoise (or maybe that indicates it isn't a finished job?)

Yes, I can hardly imagine that they'd do that. In their own way they are as conservative about livery as Ron Dennis was (that's why they fitted so well together for a long time I expect)

I agree too. I think maybe making the Niki star a little bit bigger to stand out would look nice.

I personally think that the red color + the heart symbol are refering to the Valentine's Day, coinciding with the presentation day of the W11

The stars seem to cover the whole side pod now.
