C4 ... PB in S1 and S2 and Purple in S3

ok ..VET just ventured out on C5 and did a 1.16.841 ... Yellow in S1, Purple in S2 and S3

Do people still think he did a 26.0 on the C3 tyre ? today he has managed a 26.5 on the C4 or C5 (not sure which)

So far I’ve been watching the c2 fastest times over the testing and it’s starting to give a little picture.

HAM 1.17.5
STR 1.17.5
NOR 18.1 now 17.5

That Merc have the wick turned down? Because the W11 will be quicker than the W10.

Vettel was still running very low engine power on all his fast runs on C4 and C5. Main straight top speed with drs ~305-308 kmh. Verstappen was doing this kind of speeds on his race sims, so ferrari probably holding back multiple seconds from the engine.

I think I'm right in thinking Bottas did a 25.807 in S3 on the C5 on Test Day 3.

No doubt about that, but with S3 being all mainly slow speed, if any sector he would be fast at, it would be S3 as you know. So a 26.5 with the C5 means to me, no way he did a 26.0 with C3 yesterday.

Especially when Bottas did a 1.15.7 last week with a S3 time of 25.8 on the C5. If Vettel can do 26.0 in S3 , then the Ferrari will be able to hit the 1.13's on the C5 , and no way can they do that.

I'm still not sure what to believe. Last seasons Pole position would have had everything turned up to the Maximum, on fresh C3's , minimum fuel and Bottas did a 25.8 in that sector. Bottas managed the same sector time last week with 2 compounds softer. I just cant believe Vettel did that unless the Ferrari was at full power and minimum fuel.
