So far I’ve been watching the c2 fastest times over the testing and it’s starting to give a little picture.

HAM 1.17.5
STR 1.17.5
NOR 18.1 now 17.5
RIC 18.1-18.2
That Merc have the wick turned down? Because the W11 will be quicker than the W10.
Pretty sure HAM did 1:16.8 on C2 on the first day last week.

His best time was a 1.16.976 that day, not sure on the tyre though

Day2 pm, Raikkonen S3 - 25.133. It looks more chicane than Vettel's 26.0

Last year in quali, teams ran between 315-325 km/h on speed trap. Anything below that is not relevant for determinig raw pecking order.

Vettel wasn't using max power, the RP is 3 tenths plus faster in S1, S1 wasn't exactly Mercedes hunting ground last year so being that much slower is pretty atrocious.

The S3 time is the one that poses a more interesting question... Vettel was obviously trying hard, i could see that, so... is the car on half a tank? If it wasn't this is gonna be a loooong season for Ferrari.

177 kmh trough turn 1, that's impressive.

I agree...Vettel was pushing!

I was saying the same thing over at the SF1000 thread and the answer i got was "I don't know how long you've been following F1"!
I even got a post disapproved as i was getting worked up it seems!

Saying your opinion is too much for some Ferrari fans it seems... =D>

Anyway:

Right now Ferrari doesn't seem fast enough to challenge Mercedes or Red Bull! Maybe by Melbourne they will...but who knows! The thing is that everyone from the Top 3 is hiding performance...but if we take into account the winter development a Quali Lap around here should be around 1.14.x i believe...since last year's Pole was 1.15.4

So if we assume that Ferrari can really do let's say a 1.14.8 in Quali...how much fuel are they running right now to be 2secs slower?? And how much time is the Engine Quali mode worth compared to a low power mode??

The first one isn't working at this moment.

The second link is working, every day, the whole day.

As you seem to have misunderstood and then reacted to my comment indirectly here: "I don't know how long you've been following F1" was because you either didn't watch last year's pole or you just ignore it. If last year's qualifying lap for Ferrari was a 16.2 on C3s, I don't understand how you can think that they were pushing at all on the C5s when Vettel did 16.8 today.

Saying your opinion is not "too much", btw. You told your's and got a different opinion.

Today's tests confirm what has already been observed on page 20. The SF 1000 suffers very useless drag. The vents on the sidepods reject the inflow as the packaging of radiant bodies and exchangers placed inside the sidepods is too dense and not sufficiently permeable. Alfa Romeo's ears avoid this problem as the flow part from the airscope slides under the skin to the back, skipping the first stumbling block given by the main radiators. Top speed SF 1000 307KM/H while the Alfa Romeo over 320 KM/H and Ferrari had to reduce the rear wing lift with the spoon wing.
About bricks. Before the engine failure, Vettel did 329 km/h without the spoon wing
