Telemetry from vettel's 1.16.8 run:

177 kmh trough turn 1, that's impressive.
Ferrari (Binotto) declared that they are not bluffing in straight lines, that they have more downforce (and a shitty drag then) that's why they are slow

Difficult to believe him... Vettel 308km/h on this best lap, while Haas was seen quite often at 330 last week

Why is the W11 still in the garage? Changing the engine?

And Vettel did 329kmh before the oil leak last week, which was without the lower downforce spoon wing so... I think it’s stuck in park

I think Ferrari is not very honest during this pre-season. They are playing (stupid) games already.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

why? It seems to me (and many others) they've been trying to get a thorough understanding of their car instead of going for headline stealing times.

This is what Mercedes has done constantly in the last years, and also RB but not so blatantly.

I think Ferrari has the best approach in many years, they keep quite and they focus only on their program

Using always the "low" power mode to have a constant setting and compare precisely what you do with your setup is ok

Claiming that Mercedes is wrong, we are not in low power mode, we just have downforce is trying to hide their true pace really poorly

Hopefully we get some sort of race dim from Ferrari in this session. Would be nice to have some comparable data.

Yesterday Ted said on Sky that Jon Noble asked Binotto whether Ferrari was using a different spec of Engine to the other two customer teams. The answer was obvious no. Ted added that it would have been better if he had asked whether they had been using a detuned engine.

Mercedes with the PU problems.

Lost 2 in the Williams, a breakdown which cost Bottas running in the first week, and again today which then overlapped into Hamilton’s run and then it goes again not much later.
