So are we trying to say that the Honda engine is still no match for it's competitors?
There is something that saying in the Air that Honda reached 1st the endurance of Ferrari & Mercedes? i mean you saw that in last year? last year they did put a new engine every 4-5 races and they won that race and then mediocre performances.
We will know for sure about Honda after the 1st 5-6 races what they do, because its easy to push an engine if your plan is to win 3-4 races in a season.

Yes

And Mercedes suspension is light years ahead of everyone else.
True GOATs don’t need the help of superior material to win.

Tom Brady, Usain Bolt are true GOATs.

oh i am getting tired of this, instead ppl start reading what is written instead of making up their own ideas .....these engine changes were planned, as stated in many many many interviews by RB an Honda

we will now for sure after 4-5 races whi has the best package, for now nobody can really tell, only guess, and last year proved ppl guesses wrong... oh and yes it is easy to push but when a Merc does the same thing at 75% for which Honda or any other engine needs 100% .... you're F****ed, no matter what

Yes

So Redbull can still compete in the corners despite having a weaker engine and running less wing, how are they so efficient?

The Honda engine definitely didn't look weak in Brazil.

I think there is lower gap anymore and if (if) Mercedes can not solve issues Honda surprass them

Calling the Honda pu weak at these juncture is just trolling the general consensus last year was that all pu have converged with Ferrari being the stand but it has already been established they were doing something untoward

The season starts in two weeks times ,the first three races are all power tracks I expect the RbrHonda combinations to win them all that will clear the air once and for all who has the number one pu.

I don't think the Honda was weak last season but if it wasn't compared to Ferrari and and Mercedes then why do they run less wing at circuits like Catalunya?

High rake uses diffuser to produce most of its downforce so they don't need a big rear wing. They also a case of gamesmanship and hiding pace.Redbull has aero parts to bring in Melbourne so we are not yet looking at the whole picture.

Ferrari also brought a spoon wing to the second week, you would assume they need every bit of df they could find.
Barcelona isn't a straight up high df track like Monaco or Hungary.

That's what I was thinking. Who's to say RedBull weren't running a completely different package to other teams in testing.

Sanctions? You mean the got fined. They misreported the starting fuel load. Any car can start wiith any fuel load and have to report it as such. There was a mistake in reporting and they got fined. What's the exact problem here? What are you reading here that is different?
Pumpkin eaters.
"The technical regulations have been revised again for 2020, requiring teams to add second fuel flow sensors to their power units."

Anyone other than Ferrari would have been disqualified for the season. Let's talk about 2020 shall we? This is so last year.
Another speculative statement. Man, your dislike for Ferrari and Schumacher is well established. Anyway, let's talk about 2020. Yeah.

Interesting comparsion. Mercedes was running a conservative PU mode but Ferrari also, so I think that Mercedes is still ahead but maybe the gap is not as big as the stats show. Or perhaps is just my hope.

Binotto said the engine is weaker than 2019, but maybe it is bluffing

Anyway I feel like:

- Mercedes has done huge progress, every Merc powered team is better than last year
- Honda has done solid progress... and may be the second engine
- Ferrari seems to be weak since FIA changes the rule
- Renault only worked on reliability, which is now very good, but not progressing means be the last
