Italy first decided to have soccer without public and now stopped it altogether for a while. Spain just made the call for no public on soccer games. Looks like all major sports will shut down slowly, or at least will happen behind closed doors.

Australia's PM has announced the travel ban on Italy will commence at 18:00pm AEST 11/03/2020.

I wonder if everyone has made it in on time?

But let's face it some of us are fanatical enough to just go anyway, even if we know we've got it!
And there in lies the real problem... as I said a long time ago now.

That's not good, 2 members from Haas and 1 from Mclaren were isolated while waiting COVID-19 test results :o

It could be literally anything at this point. They're just being extraordinarily prudent, which is the correct course of action.

agreed, they must do it to prevent raising infection between all members and teams but when teams come to race with minimum required people, even 1 isolated man is not good for them :(

It's a scary and bizarre situation. I just hope everyone - team personnel, fans, and everyone here, stays safe and healthy.

One isolated man should not be too much of an issue. Teams should have redundancy. Flus happen every year, and people are on occasion absent for other reasons. It becomes a problem if larger teams are simultaneously absent. But one is certainly manageable.

It’s a problem if only people with symptoms are being tested while symptoms only come after 5+ days of infection. Numbers of cases dont reflect the true extent, but what might have been 10-15 days ago.

And what about people who have it with only mild or no symptoms but are carriers?
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Apparently part of why it's gone so viral in Italy is when they closed the schools in one place everyone took their kids on holiday! So that shows what a factor behaviour is. Obvious but an example of what could be at stake
