I don't think the race will happen.

Mclaren pulling out and the drivers statements are going to go world wide and the world will look at F1, and like many of us, say "why is this going ahead?".

The FIA or F1 should take the high ground and pull it, because if the race is cancelled from more teams and/or drivers pulling out it will look far worse.

It's time to get sensible. Trying to fly 1000s across the globe for a race is nothing short of irresponsible.

The 1000s have already flown, the teams are already in Aus. Short of the race being legally stopped, I doubt it will not happen. Another scenario is more teams drop out and/or drivers refuse to race.

Future races, however, are much more in doubt.

If races go ahead on a voluntary and non-championship basis it would be a good opportunity to try out 2 day weekends, reverse grids, sprinklers and so on
