Care to elaborate? I suppose glass bottles are not given out, so these are plastic ones? A protest for a cancellation that hasn't even happened yet!?

The Australian Grand Prix is set to continue as planned as discussions following McLaren’s decision to withdraw from the event continue.

Indy 2005?
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

If only 5 teams decided to compete it should be no-points GP. Otherwise it would be a huge farce like Indianapolis in 2005.

I seriously do not understand anybody who is making out like cancelling is the “safest” thing to do etc.

They are already there. They won’t have flights back for a few days so would all be in crowded hotels sat waiting!

It’s a bit of flu ffs. I’ve never seen such overreaction. Most people have a little cold for a few days and many infected have no symptoms at all.

The guy above talking about risking death? Give yourself a shake. The only people dying are weak and would have likely just died of something else very soon anyway. 1000s die every single year from flu, it’s what happens.... always has and always will.

If it’s so contagious then everybody is going to get it anyway. Why delay the inevitable or pretend not racing is going to change anything.

Gate opening has been delayed while we work through today's programming and scheduling.
Hmmm, how odd!?

Typical F1 this, making all the wrong decisions at the worst possible time.
