There also remains the fact that immunity does not stop someone spreading the virus from infected surfaces to other surfaces in another area. It is even more difficult to guard against then as there are no symptoms to suggest the likelihood of infection. This is a very wide area to research and many mistakes will probably be madenzjrs wrote: ↑25 Apr 2020, 13:44WHO summary of the research on immunity following infection and a comment on the effectiveness of 'immunity passports' https://www.who.int/news-room/commentar ... f-covid-19

According to reports, the 2020 Formula 1 season is set to begin on July 5 with the Austrian GP as part of back-to-back races at the Red Bull Ring.
Austrian public radio broadcaster Ö3 reported on Friday, as stated by Grandprix247.com, that an announcement is imminent to confirm that the first race of 2020 will take place at the Red Bull Ring on July 5, with round two taking place at the venue a week later on July 12.
Interesting, but the following makes little sense from the article
Stupid, obviously they need to be tested a few days before, unless the article is wrong or confusing the test type. The roughly 400 track, security and hospitality personnel involved with the Grand Prix have reportedly been tested and cleared for the virus already.
Or we see UV-C lamps become more common. Might be a good idea to buy stock.Big Tea wrote: ↑25 Apr 2020, 15:47There also remains the fact that immunity does not stop someone spreading the virus from infected surfaces to other surfaces in another area. I understood the 400 being Red Bull's direct staff in Mr. Mateschitz' hotels surrounding the track as well as the Ring's employees, not all required personnel, though.nzjrs wrote: ↑26 Apr 2020, 10:57Interesting, but the following makes little sense from the article

UV may be good to sterilise an area overnight, but would it be safe having people work in high levels of UV? Assuming it is the the same wavelength that zaps a virus as destroys human material, which would seem probable as both are made of the same 'stuff'godlameroso wrote: ↑26 Apr 2020, 14:41Or we see UV-C lamps become more common. This would also lead to a lot of stuff made of certain plastics being ruined. UVC is much better used to sterilise smaller objects in a controlled environment (enclosed light box and so on) than entire rooms.godlameroso wrote: ↑26 Apr 2020, 22:49You don't have the UV lights on while people are there, that is asinine, you use them while the premises are vacated so people don't get sick when they go to an establishment. No one here is giving medical advice. Most places have downtime, you use the lights then so that when people show up the place is sterilized.
