Agree. If he still returns a positive test tomorrow he’s stuffed. You’d think they’d know by now.
I think they will err on the side of caution anyway. He would have to have close contact with his 'bubble' both at the track in in his travel/feeding 'bubble' so there will be 10-20 people at risk there and some of these will overlap other 'bubbles'. It is not as if the car will not score team points, and it wil be there showing the sponsor colours and getting extra air time because of the driver change. I don't think the possible gain would not be worth the possible risk

I thought the FIA has their own 10 day minimum Quarantine period?

It would have been reallyt hard for Perez to test negative after such a short period. Tracing Point better make sure the car starts on Sunday.

From what i gather Checo will have to do 10 day quarantine now after returning another positive test under the new UK guidelines, so he will miss Spain too

Unfortunate for Perez, but happy to see Hulk get another shot. Hopefully they get his car started this time. Anyone know why it didn’t start last Sunday? I think I heard it was something about an electronics issue, but nothing more definitive than that.

There was mention of a sheared bolt somewhere in the drivetrain.

I wonder what they going to do about this rule , There has been reports of people testing positive for weeks even after fully recovered.

That's the reason why they dropped the rule for returning to work with a negative test result (at least in my country)

Fine and reduction of WCC points? THat's a double whammy that could end up costing them more than the fine.

Weather for the weekend is looking to be warmer than last weekend's British GP. Saturday and Sunday look to be high 20s perhaps even low 30s (degC). With softer tyres too, this could be interesting.

Good! it was pretty obvious from the pictures they’d blatantly copied last years Mercedes design.

There's nothing to do about the rule, he doesn't race until he is clear. He took a stupid risk, knew the consequences and now has to pay them.

I feel more sorry for the team than him to be honest. Things are not going their way at the moment.
