The good thing is that we seem to have closed the gap completely to Racing Point. I am also curious if the Racing Point will be forced to change their brake ducts and what is that gonna do to their car.

Seems so at least but maybe so is Renault and Ferrari at least in the form of Leclerc.

Racing Point seems to be still a bit faster and probably only the driver’s can make a difference... Renault is looking really good this weekend though, last weekend I had them as ahead of us and it seems they are still maintaining that lead

I wouldn't worry about Racing Point. They might lose all that speed when they need to change that brake duct and who knows what else. I dont think also that it was a good idea to put Mediums. Don't we have fresh components or do you mean new engines? Do you mean upgrades?

That shouldn’t matter in Qualy... Mclaren should still be running Qualy mode and it should have the same peak performance as Renault and the same gap to the others since their fresh PU’s are the same spec... Hmmm... We may not be as fast as RP and Renault this weekend, that’s it.

Renault and RP are faster for sure. McLaren are battling Ferrari and AT, but even they seem slightly quicker. Hopefully Lando can pull out one of his gems in his 2nd Q3 run.

Yes... Now, the first run in Q3 was done in used Softs with probably not the highest power mode in the engine... All to play for in Q3 and for the first time this season I don’t really know where we really are in the order.

In race trim, yes. You can't run qually mode for more than 1 lap due to energy usage/recovery.

Not a good qualification and considering how better we did last week I am curious to see what happened to the speed from last week.

Peak performance drops as well when components get worn out. Especially peak performance.
