I doubt it or I hope not...Don't forget everyone, 11 down, will likely start on hard. You pit on lap 10, you'll get stuck behind them. Basically, I think Norris is getting screwed cause of that Q2 tire rule.

He’s going to Ferrari....
I find it hard to believe that rake is the reason. Like I said, rake is only there at lower speeds.ThePapayaJaguar wrote: ↑09 Aug 2020, 08:12Many sources are reporting that the high rake philosophy is making Red Bull hit its performance ceiling. We also have a high rake. The general consensus is that high rake cars are more challenging to set up than ones with low rake (right?). I just hope that letting Pat Fry go wasn't a mistake considering last year's car was kinder on tires.
Have their paths ever crossed professionally? I can’t seem to recall them in the same team together.diffuser wrote: ↑09 Aug 2020, 09:31I find it hard to believe that rake is the reason. No doudt, they are more of a challenge to setup.
Keeping Fry was never an option, he and Keys don't get along.
I mean keeping Fry as technical director and not signing Key. Hopefully they can resolve the issues.diffuser wrote: ↑09 Aug 2020, 09:31I find it hard to believe that rake is the reason. Agree, and I also think highly on Claire Williams for being that outspoken for the same reason.Ground Effect wrote: ↑09 Aug 2020, 10:45With an upcoming Mercedes engine switch, I must say that I’m a bit surprised Zak is going in so hard with this, to a certain extent, going against Mercedes. I’m not saying it’s wrong or that I disagree, just surprised he can take this approach, ignoring the usual politics and posturing of F1.
Honestly, massive respect to Williams for not doing the same thing as RP. Especially considering the position they are in at the moment.EddyBaggio wrote: ↑09 Aug 2020, 10:51Agree, and I also think highly on Claire Williams for being that outspoken for the same reason.Ground Effect wrote: ↑09 Aug 2020, 10:45With an upcoming Mercedes engine switch, I must say that I’m a bit surprised Zak is going in so hard with this, to a certain extent, going against Mercedes.
