Yeah, not sure how Mick got away with the Shumy Chop! Drove right across the front of his team mate, took his front wing out and his team mate went from 1st to 13th in the last few laps.

It’s unlikely, but I’d love to see a Max, Daniel and Nico podium. :D

Gasly needs his seat back now. Albon showing he's not up to it, despite the team putting what appears 'no pressure' at all on him. Gasly was pushed so hard last year and was in the car after Ricciardo so the team wanted similar results. now the team have much lower expectations for their 2nd driver, Gasly should be able to go in to the team a bit more steady and the team should have learned from their mistakes on the way they handled Gasly in 2019. Get Pierre back in and drop Albon asap.
Drop Albon, who nearly outscored Verstappen last season and should have had a race win already this season (without the Hamilton collision), and replace him with the person Verstappen lapped (twice?) last season?

Really?
Yes. Albon who was nowhere in Austria and lucked in to a shot at the win with safety car screwing the Mercs over.
Albon who was outscored by Kvyat when they were team mates, Albon who scored a few more points in 9 races than max did in the last 4 races. Albon is rubbish. always has been, I've watched him for the last 5 yrs! He's not good enough
Ok. That's a useful baseline, especially for a driver that barely had a pre-season and had no time in the car before his first race.
15% more points than his team mate is not good enough (9 races vs 4).
8.4 points per race is not good enough.
Not finishing close enough to your team mate is not good enough.

Let's see what Gasly brings to the table, with a full pre-season and plenty of time in the car and with the team, this should be simple.
-8% more points than your team mate (12 races vs 4) is good enough.
5 points per race is good enough.
Lapped in nearly twenty percent of the races is good enough.

I'll be honest. I'm not seeing it.

My point is both are nowhere near Max, but Gasly is better than Albon. all through his career. Plus the RedBull in 2019 was stronger in the second half of the season than it was in the first half. Of the 3 RedBull Jr's, Gasly is the better.

Just reminded about Di Resta being Mclarens reserve driver, does he qualify for a licence because of his 1 off race for Williams a few yrs ago? Gutierrez doesn't have the right qualifications but was in F1 later than Di Resta. Di Resta has done 1 race since the end of 2013. Gutierrez has done 2 full seasons since the end of 2013. bit harsh for Esteban

I dont think it is as Mercedes apparently have Hulk lined up for reserve after this weekend. Formula E finishes after Berlin so would mean Esteban would be ok but he's not being considered now.

Sky have just ran a piece in which Jensen Button is interviewing Daniel Ricciardo.

Mid interview Lando Norris walks up and starts winding up Ricciardo who instantly starts to return the favour. It ends up with Norris knocking Ricciardo’s cap off whilst laughing with Ricciardo in fits of laughter himself. They are both nutcases and McLaren will be Comedy Central next year.

I know they aren’t popular on here but I’m enjoying that the SKY broadcast team are wearing retro clothing today. Nice bit of fun.
