I know but when I mentioned it that they need to fix their pit stops someone was accusing me of crying too much. What does he have to say now? Can we please fix that annoying problem? It's costing us a lot.

On another note are we gonna have new components and engine on the car for the next GP?

I think 9th position was the best place we could get this time as the car was the 5th fastest this time only beating Ricciardo's Renault. We were very close to Ocon though. It's a pity though. If Silverstone wasn't that narrow we could have managed to pass that Renault.

We drop to fourth by 2 points as Ferrari is going 3rd after that GP and it's time to regroup I think. The game isn't over yet. I am sure we will strike back even harder.

Mercedes can lose after all it seems. That Mclaren MP4-4 record will never be broken as I am sure Red Bull will get another win. Bothers me though that the only way for someone else to win is for Mercedes to severely underperform.

I don't think the game is over. Leclerc is overperforming that car compared to Vettel. Hopefully Spain will bring us yet more updates and may suit our car better. Hopefully we can put new components in the car in order to push as we didn't perform as intended today. In my opinion if we go 100% we are close to RP, faster than Ferrari and Renault as shown in Austria and in the first Silverstone. For the love of god please fix those pit stops. They are costly.

Personally I wouldn't count RP to be for much longer in the game. They are gonna be forced to make lots of changes which will hamper their car.

Didn’t think we ever had the pace to challenge for 3rd in the constructors, Tracing Point will just wollop us are certain races just like today, we are realistically racing Rabaul for 5th and I was surprised how competitive we was against them today- especially after Ricciardo’s performance yesterday

And yea I agree the pit stop have gone terrible again. I felt like we improved with them last season but still had a few major errors and if I’m not mistaken Seidl said the for this season they were going to develop new hardware to improve the stops but unfortunately it’s clear to see we are worse.... there is nearly a major blunder every race!!

In barcelona maybe if we bring something and do the right pitstops but monza will be tough the mercedes engine is far ahead and ferrari will have an new engine there

Ferrari can’t upgrade their engine, unless for reliability, so don’t expect a huge jump in power from them.

I think this is pretty much spot on. The vast majority of cars finished within one or two spaces of where they qualified which shows pace was pretty similar throughout the field and that tyre management was really the only thing that differentiated the pace between the teams.

Simply put, the car wasn’t at it’s best today in Silverstone... Just as Mercedes showed, sometimes conditions can play against you and the MCL35 seem to struggle with the high temperatures all weekend.

But, we are still in the fight and coming home with a couple points is not a bad result given the pace of the car... On to Barcelona now!

We could've been in front of Ocon with Sainz, probably even in front of Hulk after his third pitstop, but the team just flushed it down the drain in that first pitstop for Carlos.

Nothing like a good dose of reality to drive improvement. Fair to say we got that over the last two weekends.

We have a traction issue compared to the front runners and if we could find the answer to that I don’t think we’re as bad on the faster stuff.
