Both Carlos and Lando picked up heavy blistering as it seemed did most of the other drivers. Lando also picked up a lot of vibration in his second stint, radioing in that it was so bad he could barely see the track. In the end the team left him out longer than would normally be prudent but not as long as they wanted. The tyres that came off the car looked like they’d been chewed by a bear

I remember, I reckon when Albon was chasing Lando and they showed his rear view camera, the rear wing was shaking A LOT.

Saw that too. Was crazy looking.
Finally, everyone knows that Red Bull is a joke and Max Verstappen is overrated.

With them racing at Silverstone, it was to be expected to have more people from the factory with the team, although I wonder how they manage the “bubble”

The fact that we were pretty kind on tires last season got us good points. I hope we can figure out the tire issues soon. I saw a McLaren photographer taking pictures of Red Bull's car during one of the practice sessions while boxing. I think it was FP2, not entirely sure though.

Yes I saw that too.

However, I don't think we have tires issues, Silverstone was a unique track, what we need to fix is pace on full fuel loads and pit stops

There’s really no need to pursue any further, since Renault and Ferrari will see it to the bitter end, it only takes one team, but there are two involved. Both are manufacturers and one of the two is the sport’s biggest team. I’m pretty sure Renault and Ferrari have the means and expertise to articulate the issue.
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

I agree with the above but this comes up as a surprise after seeing how offensive Zak was, even calling the arguments given by RP a BS

True, but I think it has shown that it would be a wrong assumption that McLaren would automatically follow Mercedes talking points. The very public rebuke alone sends a strong message. Zak was one of the first people to call the RP20 CopyPoint, Andreas consistently refers to it as last years Mercedes. Also, notice the contrasting positions between Mercedes and McLaren on the upcoming Concorde agreement, they are at opposing ends. So I think McLaren have sent a clear message with all these.

It also takes away from time, energy and resources that could be better spent on self-improvement.

The fact that the car had poor race-pace - bar a few outliers - throughout last year indicates it wasn't in fact kind on its tires.

Why waste money and effort on something they can not contribute to ? Either the case will pass or fail, Mclaren need not add their resources to two of the richest (most lawyers and legal engineers) teams in the paddock as the result to them will be the same. All they can do is lose money influence and 'image'
