Some rain predicted for next weekend, about 8 mm both on saturday and sunday and 17 deg Celsius. Might shake things up a bit.

Curious about the updates of RB and Merc.

No final verdict yet on a one or multiple engine mappings in qualy and race?

So that according to F1 standards means, no rain at all or rain just after the checkered flag :(

Once again, the midfield race will be the most interesting, unless there is rain.

Rain in modern F1 means start behind SC, do 12 laps behind SC, crying "we cant drive we cant drive mememe" and red flag. So better cross fingers for sunny day.

I hope for light rain just enough to force them to inters because otherwise they will go around behind SC and Hamilton crying on the radio for the SC to go faster. Best scenario would be standing start on inters on a drying track, then rain again halfway drying on the last laps with people going on slicks right at the end (2008 maybe?)

Masi seems keen to have the cars out in wet conditions, as proved by his management of Saturday at Austria 2. The problem for the race is when cars start to go off. You can’t leave them in place and if they require a tractor to move them then you need a safety car. It is what it is.

Pirelli is not helping either with their wet tyres. Remember those Bridgestone inters that could do from moderate rain to practically dry? That was a wet tyre. Is it so difficult for them to do something similar?

Yes, Pirelli is the devil. In fact, that is what they call their tires, Diablo. Even more proof. We should have known. Unlike Bridgestone. Which is a bridge, connecting people, allowing them over that darned water (on track) and made of Stone, so dependable and will last forever. =D>

High teens at best. It's going to be the coldest race weekend of the season.
