So it looks again like Redbull is the only "challenge" for Mercedes. Well kinda not really...

unfortunately the FIA didn't upload the FP2 Lap Times on the official website

https://www.fia.com/events/fia-formula- ... nformation

does anyone know if they are available elsewhere? Going by the availability of long run analyses, some people seem to have access at least.

I'm expecting total domination here by Merc.

Renault looks interesting.
We'll have to see how long the inters last.

well, it's Spa, so you never really now, but the chance of any rain this weekend is getting lower and lower. Looks more likely to be dry tomorrow, at the moment

hamilton almost flat in pouhon in fp2. Approach speed is rather low given PUs are turned down, so we'll see if hes able to floor it during quali

Seems be abnormal. Because the track temperature is cooler (= worse) than the ideal temperature, ok?

Is this going to one of those races where being on pole isn't necessarily that important or might even be a disadvantage? The long run along the Kemmel means that being in front can be a disadvantage allowing P2 to overtake in to Les Combes. We've seen this in the past, of course.

Big improvement at La Source & T10, comparing to 2019 quali, but Mercedes seemed to have trouble at the bus stop chicane. I wonder if the low track temp is playing a part here.

FP3 times are so different to FP 2&1.

Good thing qualifying is in a few hours... Ferrari is looking like a real threat to Williams. Can Vettel beat Latif? Will Leclerc be good enough to keep up with George?

Maybe this race the two back marker teams will make it into Q2? I'm really cheering for Williams and Ferrari...

If it rains I see Max and Hamilton still fighting for 1st and everyone else with an actual chance to beat Bottas if it doesn't rain Bottas will easily take 3rd. That big of a deficit in straightline speed is very much going to affect them weather it rains or doesn't. Ferrari powered cars will have a terrible race at all high speed tracks and there are going to be 3 in Italy.... Oh no....

No it's not that, it's not the engine either. Ferrari seems to have real mechanical grip issues due to low tyre temperature. If it will rain I guess temperatures drop further and I'm not sure what happens with intermediates or rain tyres but my guess is they will be dead last.
