Personally I think Mclaren as every Friday has lowered the engine and will probably show it tomorrow on the Qualifications. On another note do we have any news regarding Racing Point and if there are gonna be more penalties?
Wouldn’t you feel much better if McLaren is able to beat them on track? Don’t get too invested in the penalty situation, even Renault have dropped their appeal, meaning the focus is on the track, same for McLaren. Just keeping rooting for McLaren in the race for third.
Definately and I'll keep rooting the team in the race for third but it was mostly a curiosity question regarding that I haven't heard anything new regarding that situation. We seem to be very close at SPA if we take account the Practise 3 times and I think Mclaren will turn up the engine in qualification.
Correction I have now read the news that Renault has withdrawn the appeal. That only leaves Ferrari that appealed. From what I understand the FIA will make rules for next year to restrict what happened this year. Does that mean that RP will be forced to redesign the car and make something themselves?
