AlphaTauri driver Pierre Gasly has won the Italian Grand Prix, fending off a charging Carlos Sainz in the final few laps. After the order was reversed in two safety car periods, Gasly held on and underlined an already impressive season with his first win.

what is amazing and kind of sad at the same time - we're in year 7 of this hybrid era, and the only team that got anywhere near them was stretching the rules a bit too much...
