Yeah, red flag should probably be suspension of the race, you can't do any changes, but I guess the idea behind the red flag is when major crashes occur where bunch of cars gets damaged, forcing all of them to wait and lose minutes of time to the leaders would lead to worse racing.

I guess just the tire compound change should be banned.

On one hand the record of the MP4-4 will remain after that. However on the other hand I feel so mad that we were denied the win by the FIA deciding that easy red flag and then letting Gasly changing a million directions when Hamilton was told not to do that again back in 2010. Still I believe we will have that opportunity to gain that win hopefully next year with the Mercedes Engine.

Mate, you really need to chill out! Myself like you are a McLaren fan of course would rather see McLaren and sainz on the top step but it wasn’t to be! Even with gasly’s changing of directions it wasn’t enough today, whether that be due to bad luck or whatever. McLaren are on the up and moving forwards just be pleased with that. Your comments after every race are so draining whether it be about Gasly’s weaving this week or ‘tracing points’ cheating! Let’s just focus on McLaren and their success!!

So so close, but I'm still pleased as we had the pace to finish P2 and P3 today if there was not a red flag.... The start by both SAI and NOR was amazing, great work team we will win again! Mclaren 4LIFE

Exactly... It just didn’t work in our favor this time.

I understand the little disappointment after been so close to a win... But, the team is more P3 than ever in the WCC and we took great advantage on a weekend where the points where up for grabs... All in all a lot of reasons to celebrate!

You just allow teams to change tyres if they want but only like for like. Stroll would have had to stop again and not had a rather unfair podium.

Was an amazing result but tinged with a little disappointment. Think I will get over that, nearly got exactly what the team deserved and Stroll/RP might have won which would have been a nightmare for me personally
