Lando also was missing a few bits today compared to Carlos (the side pod deflectors) because the team only had one set ready for the weekend... Both should have it next week.

Retire if the car if it is broken. Change tires? add +24 seconds(or whatever the pit time is at that track) for a pitstop to the start.SmallSoldier wrote: ↑06 Sep 2020, 16:19The rule exist because a Red Flag comes out after severe accidents and there could have been debris on the track... That’s the intention of the rule, to allow the teams to fix the cars due to this

I’m not arguing if the rule is good or not... I’m just stating why it exists.diffuser wrote:Retire if the car if it is broken. Yeah, red flag should probably be suspension of the race, you can't do any changes, but I guess the idea behind the red flag is when major crashes occur where bunch of cars gets damaged, forcing all of them to wait and lose minutes of time to the leaders would lead to worse racing.diffuser wrote: ↑06 Sep 2020, 17:46Retire if the car if it is broken. Myself like you are a McLaren fan of course would rather see McLaren and sainz on the top step but it wasn’t to be! Even with gasly’s changing of directions it wasn’t enough today, whether that be due to bad luck or whatever. McLaren are on the up and moving forwards just be pleased with that. Your comments after every race are so draining whether it be about Gasly’s weaving this week or ‘tracing points’ cheating! Let’s just focus on McLaren and their success!!Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑06 Sep 2020, 17:17On one hand the record of the MP4-4 will remain after that. However on the other hand I feel so mad that we were denied the win by the FIA deciding that easy red flag and then letting Gasly changing a million directions when Hamilton was told not to do that again back in 2010. Still I believe we will have that opportunity to gain that win hopefully next year with the Mercedes Engine.![]()
Same here, mixed feelings
Exactly... It just didn’t work in our favor this time.Big Tea wrote:One time you lose by it, next time you gain by itSmallSoldier wrote: ↑06 Sep 2020, 17:49I’m not arguing if the rule is good or not... You just allow teams to change tyres if they want but only like for like. Stroll would have had to stop again and not had a rather unfair podium.
