I find this track limit stuff so strange. At least 1 wheel has to stay inside the white line? It's not difficult.
Totally agree. Should be a non negotiable rule at all points of all tracks. It should not be difficult to do.

Ok, well unless Verstappen had an issue on his lap, the Mercs have shown up to the party properly for the first time.

God it’s tragic watching the Ferraris plodding around like this.

Charles' time isn't so bad all things considered... I wish I had an answer for Vettel's lack of pace. I cannot believe that Ferrari would really let him hang out to dry like this. Then again, Red Bull...

At this point the rule should be removed or modified to say that track limits will be determined by the stewards of the race. As it is now I’m surprised a team hasn’t protested another due to the rules as written.

End of Q1; Gasly in P16 is very surprising, considering Kyvat was well into the midfield. Latifi was looking very close to getting ahead of Russell (what a last flying lap he had!). Vettel just scraping through in 15th is upsetting... and good job by Grosjean getting the Haas into Q2.

Well they can be ruthless, can’t they and I don’t expect they are bothering to treat him the same as Leclerc. I expect his performances are suffering from a combination of that, the overall performance of the car and that his head MUST be at least partly out the door.

It’s going to be really interesting to see what he can do next season in a new environment.

It’s such a mess! Although I suppose at least if anything all the teams seem to be being treated equally but it’s just confusing to everyone really. Especially casual viewers.

Either just do away with it totally and let them put the cars wherever they want, put really aggressive curbs down to make sure they don’t go too wide or just get strict. Good example of how they can mess up something so simple in theory!

This could be the best q3 of the season here

Seeing the Mercedes of Hamilton through those high speed section... I've seen trees less planted than that. And then Max and goes within a couple of tenths of the Mercedes. Could make Q3 quite exciting at the front, as well as the midfield.

Apologies for Double Posting; End of Q2... Good effort for Kimi to get 13th, seems to be getting a lot out of the Alfa Romeo. Cannot say the same for Vettel; A true pity. Compared to Saturday practice, a bit surprising to see Renault making it into the Top 10 comfortably.

It’s very close between 1-3 and then from 5-10.

Which is nice.
