Yeah, thats the thing about Lewis, he was clesrly struggling, yet still the fastest man on the day. He has that skill in his locker. Must be so hard for Bottas to take that. I can see why Nico retired when he did.

He didn't appear to be struggling from the onboards in practice, he just didn't have the speed of Bottas at the time.

Does he have skill in a locker? Shouldn’t he keep it in at least a storage unit? Lockers are usually quite small.

Long long run down to turn 1. Bottas will not want another poor start here. I can also see Lewis under pressure too.

At least a nice long run off the line allows for drivers to actually get rewarded for a good start and punished for a bad start. (Monza a good example) Not a huge fan of those circuits where it's only a couple of hundred metres to the first corner and there isn't the chance for too much to develop, at least near the front.

Could be some action here.

What side of the grid is pole? The left hand side I would imagine is shite.

I think Max has a great chance today, with Albon there to back him up they may be able force Merc's hand on strategy, their tire wear should be as good if not better than Merc

Dont think albon will have any pace to even be closer to Max
He would fall down the field or finish like 10 to 15 sec behind Max

him (in 4th) dropping back 20s quickly to open the door for an early stop would probably be the best that could happen for Verstappen, strategy wise. Personally I'd say that forcing Mercedes to go long on the 2nd stint is the best chance to win this, at least.

Yes, he is not there to win, he is there to assist. As long as he cam go quick enough to make an over take difficult he is doing his job.
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

Here's one. Do we think Albon would be allowed to finish ahead of Max, if both cars are running close to each other?

I dont think he has the pace to help his team mate though, by the time the pit stops come around, the Mercs will likely have a big enough gap to not worry. Plus if they do come out behind him, they will breeze past with him on old tyres.
