him (in 4th) dropping back 20s quickly to open the door for an early stop would probably be the best that could happen for Verstappen, strategy wise. Personally I'd say that forcing Mercedes to go long on the 2nd stint is the best chance to win this, at least.
Yes, he is not there to win, he is there to assist. As long as he cam go quick enough to make an over take difficult he is doing his job.
Here's one. Do we think Albon would be allowed to finish ahead of Max, if both cars are running close to each other?
I think it would depend on the position. Win, no. Podium 2 and 3, possibly. 3 and 4 yes. and any lower down yes.

Don't be silly. Besides, it would never even need to be considered unless Max has damage.

Edit: saying that, RedBull always seemed to let Ric and Max fight when it was stupid to do so. so maybe they would, Horner has no control over his boys

Actually, I would say, yes. Everbody knows Max wont be fighting for this year's championship anyway. A better chance winning the lottery.

Yet again Italy shows how an anthem should be played.

I think its more down to it being a good anthem to sing. Its a 'get up and go' anthem

I think it's because anthems should be sung with heart, not for show, as so often done.
My anthem should be sung by a choir, and we often get it sung opera style by a female out to show her powerful voice.

It does not work

Welsh? I'm not Welsh myself, but a male choir singing Land of my Fathers is absolutely magnificent. Spine tingling.

To add, I hate national anthems sung all high and warbly Opera style.

Completely off topic, but you mentioned the Welsh Anthem, so I had to share this.

Anyway, enjoy the race everyone!
