So, rumours in the Daily Mail are now suggesting that Mercedes are selling their F1 team to Ineos and investor Jim Ratcliffe for 700M. The news is backed up by Eddy Jordan. The rumours suggest the Mercedes name will stay connected to the team until 2022. Toto Wolf is to step down as team boss and is to sell his shares. He will stay on as advisor.

For McLaren, I smell chances of getting back a Mercedes works deal. I felt since the announcement of our return to Mercedes engines that the team were anticipating on a Mercedes departure on their factory team. Now, if the rumour is true, all the cards are on the table. It may be the final push we need to return to glory days.

Not sure what happened between Carlos and the RP. Could say Stroll didn't give him enough space but it's a tenuous claim.

But he's 15th now, not last and has fresh tyres, didn't see what he'd changed to. Might not be so bad for him. Lando in 8th.
