Bottas will get Hamilton at the restart, calling it now.

Such a shame for Stroll, he was racing well and looked hungry for that podium position and matching Ric and Albon. Was really becoming an exciting fight.

IMHO the standing starts creates a bit too much artificial drama. First one and this one, assuming there’s another.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

It seems the ones that predicted it would be a boring race got it wrong... It’s been quiet eventful!

Ok so I re-checked. On lap 28 ham-bot gap was at 2.1s as it was for a number of laps. Then tyres suddenly go off a cliff for bottas and on lap 31 just before pitting gap is at 8s.
That's why they pitted him first, leaving him out 1 extra lap would lose him another 2-3 seconds if not more and puncture also wasn't out of the question.

It's not great racing, however.

Dont like this red flags. Run the safety car man.

DRS is strong here... So even if Bottas gets in front HAM might just DRS him.
