The nose of the R29 is quite wide but isn't that fat as you would think. The venturi channel makes it look fatter. Therefore the lower wishbones can't go much lower since it's hollow underneath. I think it's accually quite thinner than BMW's nose.Shaddock wrote:
If Renault are really serious with this design, (it appears to be evolving all the time) I think they need to chisel out the section under the nose and relocate their lower wishbones further down the body.

It would then be similar to the BMW nose, apart from being continuous from nose to the cockpit with the flow conditioners.
