Why box Lewis now straight into traffic, I don't get Mercedes strategic decisions sometimes.

Given the team told him it was ok to do the practice starts where he did, I expect a 10s penalty is the last thing he thought would happen actually.

I imagine he’s cheesed off with his team TBH. They cleared him on his practice starts and then wanted to drag him in early.

The only thing in Hamilton’s favour is that they are all getting out of his way due to pit stops.

Bottas is lapping faster on the mediums though. Distance is increasing...
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Question is, why didn’t BOT perform his starts in the same place? Something’s not quite right. More info needed

If we have another safety car though none of it will matter.

Hamilton is also now asking why the team brought him in early. He’s managing his tyres now.

Bottas pace is really good. Hards working not too well for Lewis.

I don’t get that either. You bring him in when the tyres start going off, surely? Not when there’s grip still available

so far, it hasn't really hurt him as cars have been pitting out of his way so he's been in free air most of the time.

Yup, if he was slower than Bottas then we could understand the early pit stop

Unless they are trying to do a two stopper, but it doesnt seem like it

It will when the race ends he will have poor tyres in the end
