It’s not. It was in the race director’s notes.Shrieker wrote: ↑27 Sep 2020, 14:58Well, If it's written in the rule book...El Scorchio wrote: ↑27 Sep 2020, 14:55Well it was a discretional penalty so race decided by the stewards.

He asked the team who gave him the go ahead. Plenty had times binned in Qualifying what actually cost him a start on Mediums. was Vettel getting Q2 red flagged.Shrieker wrote: ↑27 Sep 2020, 14:52Hamilton has himself to blame. He didn't have to be 'smart' and try a practise start in a different place; especially at a time when they're looking for every little thing to penalize him. Also, his unnecessary mistake at the final corner in Q2 , which ultimately forced him into softs, compromising his race.
Yeah Perez went from 11 seconds behind Hamilton after putting during the race to 9 seconds behind Lewis.grubschumi13 wrote: ↑27 Sep 2020, 14:58Verstappen always punching above his station. Perez was really good today that W10 car was really a monster last season, still beating 2020 cars and good enough to take 4th 1 point behind Stroll. Stroll unlucky but should have qualified better to avoid the midfield madness.
As seen from today's driver of the day, Max got driver of the day, even when he just stayed where he was and didnot do anything other than gain a place from other people's misfortune.Schippke wrote: ↑27 Sep 2020, 14:50Not really denying that as such... just meant in general, Perez drove a solid clean race and Charles basically 'Alonsoing' the SF1000 into the points.siskue2005 wrote: ↑27 Sep 2020, 14:42Driver of the day is just fan votes, it is a scam really.Schippke wrote: ↑27 Sep 2020, 14:41At this time... I'm wondering either how strong Leclerc is performing in the SF1000... OR how much Vettel is struggling in general this season. Sure, I understand he is leaving and what not... but surely that isn't the full story of a 4-time world champion? In saying that... I guess you could also compare that to Max and Alex at Red Bull.
I'd say it is between Perez OR Leclerc for driver of the day, considering car/driver performance.
He did it on track. To be fair what goes around, comes around. When Lewis won by default in Silverstone 2019 nobody said it was by default. Ordered to slow in Singapore to prevent Lewis from falling in to the undercut, Ordered to let Lewis past in the this very GP in 2018. He has his fair share of humiliating team orders and wins lost when through no fault of is own.
Hamilton and Bottas were obviously conserving tyres and engine in the last 10 laps. The gap from Verstappen to either of them is totally meaningless.Racer X wrote: ↑27 Sep 2020, 15:05Yeah Perez went from 11 seconds behind Hamilton after putting during the race to 9 seconds behind Lewis.grubschumi13 wrote: ↑27 Sep 2020, 14:58Verstappen always punching above his station. Max at the same time was getting further away from Hamilton towards the end with the 2020 Mercedes being such a monster it think it says a lot more about Max/Perez to be able to put that kind of a push to Hamilton.
I think Max/Perez had a far more impressive race then would seem at first sight.
Sergio was almost 18 seconds faster then Ricciardo. And Max was almost 7 seconds closer to Bottas.
Impressive...
It had to do with the fact that after the VSC Lewis backed off and didnot pushRacer X wrote: ↑27 Sep 2020, 15:05Yeah Perez went from 11 seconds behind Hamilton after putting during the race to 9 seconds behind Lewis.grubschumi13 wrote: ↑27 Sep 2020, 14:58Verstappen always punching above his station.
