Probably because you are comparing two completely different situations? Also I don't feel anybody was attacking you (more likely they felt you had some additional contextual information to share). I agree though that people crushing too hard over the winning team is irritating especially because Merc have been at the top so long.

Either way, everyone from the front half of the midfield up have been inching closer to Mercedes with their latest upgrade packages, with Verstappen obviously leading the charge... I think Mercedes' approach to next year's technical challenge is distinctively different to other's.
