I look forward to seeing what if any "Honda" identity the car carries. IF they really use another manufacturer's engines, will they be re-badged?
Honda's withdrawal was a reasonable business decision. I can't see them recanting and making any significant commitment to the team.
They are already paying their salaries, and technically still giving the orders (he who writes the paychecks IS the boss afterall...). Maybe if Honda step back like this, and finally let the team do what it needs to, it may actually do something this year.
Especially if the RA109 is actually a hit out of the box... What kind of storybook situation would this be if it actually all came together? Almost better than Vettel at Monza last year, and that is worthy of a Grand Prix movie remake IMHO, so it would be HUGE in the media if nothing else, and the title sponsor is going to plastered in headlines around the world, so it may be worth it just for that alone...
Thoughts?
