this is just what happens when Red Bull put all the eggs in Verstappens basket, he effectively is racing a team of 2 drivers alone with race pace being basically his only weapon, no options in regards with pit stops

It is not staged. If anything they hesitated/delayed like one minute to put on an **obvious** safety car.

Actually that’s not the case. They needed Hamilton to get by Verstappen which is clearly why they did that. It’s not Hamilton’s fault that Bottas couldn’t gap Verstappen or keep the gap to Hamilton on old tyres sufficiently low.

Were Verstappen not in the mix, the team would not have allowed Hamilton to do that
