That's exactly what he's supposed to do. he's not supposed to be using the VSC, safety car, or flags to keep the malcontent fans happy!

His only concerns are supposed to be safety, and that the teams and the drivers stick to the technical and sporting regulations.

to be fair, it wasn't really a red-flag worthy incident. The FIA should really do something about this lapped cars rules though. I'm fine with them getting their lap back, but let them do it quickly please, and don't care about them closing back on the field or not
