It's a slow corner so it's much less likely to be an issue.

I suppose you're right, there is also less grip on the astroturf, so perhaps more laptime to be gained by having a tight early turn in. The circuit appears off camber on that critical corner, so it may not be so straightforward.

I wonder if using the inner wheel over the inside kerbs is faster .

Looks lovely, have the resurfaced the whole circuit? Always loved racing on this track, and it makes for great racing.
