Personally, I wish the cars always had more power than grip. This is an extreme, but so is being able to floor it though a bunch of corners that were a challenge up until this generation of cars.

Correct .. I'd like the cars to have 1800HP or so, power-to-weight ratio is way too much offset. Turn 8 should for no one be flat ...
But apparently, that time (when a car seemed to have so much personality, drivers thought for the enire GP the car wanted to kill them) will never come back ...

Whatever happens tomorrow at the front with Max and the Pink cars wont matter in the slightest, as tomorrow will be the day Lewis becomes the grestest driver of all time in the statistics. So that will likely overshadow anything that Racing Point or RedBull do.

Another "L" for Max in the wet again. I understand his frustration.

Not as big as hamilton's L in 6th place 5s off the pace though.

But only one was crying next to a bin...

With experience comes the understanding that you don't always get what you want. Also, the understanding that there is only one other car on the grid this weekend that matters to Hamilton. And that car is starting 3 places behind him.

Well even if Bottas would have been on pole and Hamilton was starting 10th, I would have bet for a Hamilton win. That's the kind of competition he has from his team mate. So it's given, he would wrap up another easy number on statistics side.

Easy to do in hamilton's positions when you have by far the best car for countless year and this is just a one those freak races. Then you can simply weigh up the odds and wait for a better day, which is just around the corner.

Rain 20 mins into the race. Likely a red flag if we don’t have one at the start from a multi car pile up.

This could be a really fun race. But I fear it’s going to be spoilt by a safety cars and red flags.
